True health isn’t a destination, it is not fixed nor is it something we achieve. It’s something we work towards daily through our thoughts, our diets, our workout routines and even the way we decorate our houses and the little avatar that houses our soul.

The habits we cultivate daily whether its prioritizing a daily walk instead of doom scrolling, choosing an americano over something loaded up with milk and syrup, or choosing not to participate in petty gossiping. These are all activities that can aid in slowly building up the core base of our health.

I know it’s easier said than done. I often find I will start focusing on one thing, let’s use exercise as an example. And as I focus on exercise slowly my organization habits start to go by the wayside.

As someone who has lived most of their life as an all or nothing and over the past few years become a ” 20% of the effort is equal to 80% of the results ” person. I definitely feel more rounded in my ability to juggle many habits. I’ve found that sometimes letting the mess pile stack up is more of a creative process than it is anything else.

Building our lives around our diets, movement, quality rest, a healthy breathwork or meditation practice and perhaps prioritizing a glass of water over a cup of coffee upon waking is the true foundation of health. It is also the base of health that allows us to truly build our lives upon it.

Modern society has us adorning our lives before our building blocks are complete. Which has us looking beautiful but hollow.

Prioritize the base, so that you can build a temple, or a mansion or fuck it maybe an ashram, or a cabin in the woods where you throw sick techno raves based on love. I don’t know your life. You do you baby.

When your base is strong you feel good, when you feel good you’re able to put more effort into the details of your life whether that is your hobbies or your “calling”, your cleaning routines, your remodeling project or even your art work.

Prioritize the core, so that you can build up.
