North node in Aries is brutal having to forge your own path against all odds tooth and nail against the grain pushing through discomfort pain fighting the good fight. Following your heart can be an isolating experience.
The nodes entered this axis on July 17, 2023 to January 11, 2025
And boy oh boy. Energy affects us all differently, I don’t know if I struggled because Aries is my natal south node. But these past years have been both simple and very hard.
I got to go to Japan (my astrocartography north node) I left jobs, circled back to things I left, tried new things, had health probs, saw my sister get married, and so much more.
Oh ya and we adopted two feral bunnies, who have made themselves right at home. I love them, great addition to my life.
I’ve been going through the motions lately, there’s always so much to do and so much that seems to demand attention.
Spring I felt like I was getting into the swing of thing and had debilitating pain for the next 6 months. Summer I went to the Wrangell mountains, crashed an E-bike. Fall was filled with friends and making short films, and the whole year was filled with over 100 appointments and 6 ER visits, and many harp lessons. If your “year” was complex and twisty that’s ok. Mine was too. I also got a sore/cut on my dominant ring finger and it is now bent in a weird way, which I have been mourning the shape of.
A lot more is going to happen in 2025.
Jupiter, Saturn, Neptune, Pluto , and Uranus are all switching signs some will also be retrograding back into their previous sign and some are there to stay, 5 slow moving planets changing signs in one year is huge. The nodes will also be switching signs.
Nodes → South Node Virgo/ North Node Pisces switch on January 11th
Neptune → Aries on March 30th
Saturn- → Aries on May 29th
Jupiter→ Cancer on June 9th
Uranus → Gemini on July 11th
Pluto already moved into Aquarius
Change can be scary, it can also be exciting, it can be both. a lot of these planets move so slow, we haven’t experienced a lot of these energies before in this life time.
Be open to mystery… be open to your plans and desires changing. Sometimes it’s disappointing, sometimes we will need to grieve. Sometimes surprise allows for things we would have never thought of but end up being thankful for.
Being aware is a good thing.
The Nodes come first. That is a very collective transit, look to your Pisces and Virgo house and placements to see what area of your chart is being interacted with.
South Node Virgo will be having us look at how we deal with facets of control, perfectionism and matters of health and anxiety, the darker side of Virgo we must look at to be able to move forward into the North Node of Pisces.
The nodes are connected we must take them both into account. North Node in Pisces is about surrender, compassion, depth, dreaming and finding a flow with the universe. It’s also about letting go, just like the south node is. It will be communicating with both Venus and Neptune on January 31st. Big things popping, keep your wits about you.
If you have any questions I’m always here for a chat. I reccomend looking to see what house Pisces and Virgo occupy in your chart. For example my Virgo is in the 9th house and Pisces is my 3rd. My Sun is also in Virgo and Saturn is in Pisces for me, those are my personal natal placements.
In short I could interpret this as becoming more disciplined around how I communicate and interact with my short form interests and my writing, taking it more seriously as a practice. Being less attached to a bird’s eye view.
Zoning in a little more. Letting go of the need for my spirituality to feel or look perfect. Allowing for experimentation, and mystery, and so much more. The ironic part is that Pisces can tend to be less serious and Virgo more disciplined. But the houses and placements (Saturn) is a bit of a mood flip. A lesson in paradox in my opinion.
Happy Gregorian New Year. Hold on to your Horses and Hats. ❤
