A New Moon in Capricorn

I did it. from not feeling like I could work more than 20 hours a week last year and wondering if I’d ever be able to fully rejoin the workforce. To working 6 days a week this holiday season, for 3 businesses including my own. wow! But im totally ready to ease into winter and really enjoy my time now.

The Mall is a liminal space if I have ever seen one and it’s fascinating but also quite weird. Even if it is not really my vibe there are things I will miss about it.

The mall walkers, trying to get a morning workout in in a warm space in the dead of winter.I’ve enjoyed feeling like there’s hope for me. Ive enjoyed exploring new ideas and a different view point on how some people interact with the world.

Ive enjoyed working with a range of ages and getting to see my younger coworkers about to take big leaps of faith into their next journeys in life (Almost makes me kind of miss being 18 but only for a moment.)

I’ve enjoyed eating taiyaki and ube soft serve and walking the halls. Watching children learn how to ice skate. And being creeped out by mall santa. Also the fact that they are still playing Christmas music in January…. like I said. Liminal. Space.

I enjoy knowing how far I have come and how far I can go.

While I do not believe January is truly the new year, I do believe in New Moon’s.

So with that said. LETS GET INTO IT!

Below are week transits simplified, with the long format moon report with deeper astrological transits at the end.

Hi I’m Kenna i’m an astrologer from Alaska. I play the harp, have an interest in sound therapies, writing and poetry. As well as visual arts, in the past that has fallen under painting, currently I’ve been exploring symbolism with astrology sometimes into photography and videography.

Im passionate about using astrology as a tool for deeper understanding and conscious self transformation. Astrology is deep and drenched in symbolism. My goal is to make understanding that symbolism fun and applicable to your own life by making the big questions palatable.

As always feel free to reach out to say hi!
