Originally I wanted to call this “Cancer Moons that won’t STFU about their exes.”
Mainly as a light hearted thing, but as I went through each person I realized that would be doing an injustice to such a complex sign as well as the people I included on this list. As a Cancer Moon myself the depth and complexity of it is often misunderstood.

I hope you have as much fun reading this as I did making it.
Cancer season marks the beginning of Summer. A Cardinal sign who’s main task deals with initiating and exploring emotion. Cancer deals with the emotional realm of feelings, self protection, and also aggression (sometimes passive aggressiveness). The shell/ the crab claws. The archetype of the mother, the nurturer. The true realm of feelings. Depth. They crave leadership and ambition just like any Cardinal sign.
Cancer Moon’s get a bad rep. Emotional crybaby’s. Overly sensitive. However their depth is often misunderstood by people with more straight forward emotions.
I feel like most of these are going to be almost laughable in the context of, haha of course they have a Cancer moon, however a few of them are surprising.
But to be fair of course they are going to be humorous. Cancer tends to have a sense of humor even if they are often known for crying about a problem more than they are laughing.
The Moon is Ruled by Cancer, when we are dealing with the moon’s realm we are talking about emotions.
Cancer is comparable to the Ocean in the way that while the surface is usually serene and calm, underneath there’s whole lot more to uncover. Unless a tsunami is occurring, then you know what’s up. The beach is lovely but remember there are creatures in the depth.

Drake
This one is a given have you heard any Drake album? Drake is sensitive. While most of his lyrics are emotional ballads crying over or calling out his exes. “Kiki, do you love me?” They’re layered over catchy beats to cut through the emotional mess and let him say what he’s feeling in an almost light hearted way.
Go listen to Marvin’s Room. ok NEXT

Taylor Swift
The woman’s entire discography is basically written about her relationships. I will say I don’t think many people love harder than a Cancer Moon. Taylor’s songs show her utter and complete devotion to love and heartbreak.

Lil Peep
The late Lil Peep literally has the words “Cry Baby” tattooed on his forehead. And A song called “Sex with My Ex.” He knows he’s tender. I recommend watching his documentary if you want a glimpse into what a kind soul he was. Turbulent emotions? Sure. Catchy beats? Also yes. In general I see a man who struggled with addiction while struggling to handle his emotional depth.

Robert Pattinson
This one is kind of fascinating, the man is notoriously tight lipped about relationship matters. However It is believed that FKA Twigs Album Magdalene is entirely about their relationship. From the moment the album starts with “A thousand eyes.” to the moment it ends with “Cellophane” their love story appears to be absolutely heart wrenching. I would love to have heard Robert’s actual feelings regarding their relationship it couldn’t have been anything more but deep and all consuming.

Kurt Cobain & Courtney Love
2 Cancer Moons, One Relationship. “Mirroring Cobain’s life, their courtship was intense and brief.” There’s a lot of depth and sadness to this one. A lot of pain. A lot of inability to handle reality eventually resulting in Kurt’s demise.

Gwen Stefani
I love that she’s happily married to Blake Shelton. Such an unexpected couple.
Go listen to “Cool” and tell me she’s not a cancer moon.

Kris Jenner
Have you ever watched an episode of KUWTK? Kris is nothing short of a super mom. Cancer is the sign of the mother after all. The dedication and love Kris puts into all of her children’s careers is next level. Her love for her family is intense

Mac Miller
Yet another Cancer Moon who succumbed to an early death at the hands of being unable to process his emotional depth leading to addiction. Mac also has a discography ranging from a mix of lighthearted songs and those with heart wrenching depth. Take the entire album “Swimming” for instance.

Eartheater
Another singer that’s discography is a mix of deep tracks as well as songs scattered with catchy beats. Mind bending, multi dimensional. She also comes across as somebody who is rather private but incredibly deep. Go listen to Above the Clavicle. Actually, no. Go listen to “Phoenix: Flames are Dew Upon My Skin” in its entirety.
