Verdure and Venus

The Sun, Moon, and Uranus are conjunct in Taurus at 10’28° during this Solar Eclipse on Saturday, April 30th at 12:27 PM AKST.

Eclipses are events that tend to spark new life in us, our routines, or our relationships. Mainly they incite change or expansion in some way. Sometimes these prompts can be dramatic or life-altering. Sometimes they are simply internal shifts.

Taurus is about structure and creation and with that structure and stability we create infrastructure to go deeper and higher. Taurus is also about the body, connecting us to the earth and the rhythm of life. Of making a decision and standing firm in it, learning to “be” and having stability while things are shifting as we are rooted deeply into ourselves.

The Moon is exalted in Taurus, normally giving ease to our emotional states, but with the moon this close to Uranus as well as it being an eclipse and approaching the North Node we can expect at least a little volatility or major shifts of some sort.

With the Nodes, we are headed toward our futures and walking away from the past in some aspect. Leaving patterns that no longer serve us behind. Confronting ourselves and what it means to be “human” With the nodes on the Scorpio/ Taurus axis there are strong themes around destruction and building lasting stability.

The Sun, Moon, and Uranus sextile Mars at 11° Pisces. Adding dynamism to the mix, allowing us to take further action around a situation or goal. Knowing what needs to be accomplished and following your inner guidance to get things done.

Venus and Jupiter conjunct at 27° Pisces with Neptune at 24° Pisces reiterating the need for expansion around our values around material goods and relationships. Neptune here adds an illusionary quality to the mix taking us further away from the truth but closer to our dream ideals.

Venus and Jupiter sextile Pluto at 28° Capricorn and Mercury in Gemini at 0° (a dissociate aspect) forming an aspect they call a minor grand trine. Creating flow around our desires for expansion in love, connection, and material things, how we communicate, and our need for change and power.

Saturn continues to square both the North Node and South Node as well as Mercury. With all the planetary action near the North Node where we are headed and why should be feeling at least a little clearer.

Even if Saturn still has us evaluating and is holding us firmly under his thumb. With Mercury squaring off to Saturn, I would keep communication regarding your boundaries and where you would like to be headed to yourself for now. Having too many chefs in the kitchen was never helpful for anyone, besides we should all have our eyes on our own dishes.
