If the Sun in Aries is focused mainly on the self, that ego shining bright and leading the way, the Moon in Libra is based on forming relationships and the benefit that the relationships we form in our life have on our emotional well-being.
In the Japanese language upon meeting someone they say “ よろしくお願いします。” Yoroshiku onegaishimasu. Which I’ve heard translated in a few different ways. “ Nice to meet you” “Please be kind to me.” or my personal favorite “Please look favorably upon me.”
The Moon in Libra loves to love and loves to be loved. Wouldn’t it be so nice if everyone we met looked favorably upon us? The thing about Libra though is that it’s particular, Venus likes what it likes and it sure doesn’t like everything or everyone. That’s Neptune’s job. With Libra, our job is to be discerning, fair, and perhaps to balance an unbalanced situation. Even if that means we are not looked upon favorably.
- The Sun sits at Aries at 26°46’ on Saturday, April 16 2022, 10:55:06 AM and Opposes the moon in Libra at 26°46’, Pluto Forms the apex of this Cardinal T- Square sitting at 28°33’ of Capricorn.
This Full Moon is asking us to assess our relationships with ourselves, how we perceive ourselves and the people closest to us, and how this relates to our boundaries and desires for success. The good news, it’s ok to be discerning. It’s ok to say “No.”… it’s also ok to say yes. But check in with your intuition first, let your heart lead the way. How can we set ourselves up for success and allow our lives to feel as good as they look? And if they don’t look or feel good how do we initiate positive or at least intentional change?
There may be some internal (or external battles) around power structures, how we see ourselves or how others see us. With Pluto in the mix though we “must have pride for all the steps no one saw us take.” I remember Astrolocherry quoting that years ago and it’s always stuck with me.
Pluto sextiles Neptune and Jupiter, big delusions may be in play. Especially with the Sun and Moon being involved in this T- Square. As this is a positive aspect though there is also an opening for us to implement vision regarding expansion around our relationships, selves, ambitions, and using our determination to make real change, or at least start to.
Saturn in Aquarius sextiles the Sun and Trines the Moon, there’s no more time to waste. We must implement discipline around our plans for the self, our emotions for others, and how we share our gifts with the collective while maintaining boundaries for the self and our relationships. With Saturn Still squaring the nodes we need to establish where we are headed placed against where we have been. At the New Moon, we started our steps towards this, now we must set our boundaries and put them fully into action. Whatever is coming up for you claim it.
Mars takes his first steps into Pisces at 1°, this is a good time to insert devotion into your spiritual practice or daily routines.
Venus is sitting at 12° Pisces and sextiing Mercury at 11° and Uranus at 13° in Taurus. Venus is exalted in Pisces. With Pisces there’s always a chance we’re diving in deep letting our feelings take precedence over reason, dreamy states, and the like. Isn’t love just beautiful lol? With these aspects to Taurus allow your thoughts to ground your heart, and communicate your feelings intentionally. With Uranus, things may be feeling electric, the ground may be shifting under your feet.
With all that said, this is a good time to stand in your integrity and to look favorably upon yourself despite how others may or may not view you. To love yourself despite how your boss, lovers, friends or parents perceive you. Only you are you, and that is valid in itself.
