We are wrapping up the astrological year. Winter ends. We have shifted through the year and reached the 12th house of earth’s astrological cycle. Houses and signs are similar but not the same. Pisces speaks of depth. Of transcendence, of expansion, of pure connection. Here we dive into the ocean and we may be lost, but when we do return, there is a chance – a large one at that- that we will not be the same. Pisces speaks of being limitless, of expanding out, of having no boundaries, of being tender souls, and having a deep spiritual understanding.
It speaks of movement, how we move forward out of the temporary death of the earth we call Winter. Where self-reflection is at an all-time high, and we are left with our emotions, or perhaps our addictions. The deeper we dive into the ocean, we are able to measure our shadows, our root systems. The deeper and wider our roots are set the higher we can grow. Not unlike a tree.
In undisturbed forests, trees connect and even nourish each other through their root systems. Pisces speaks of such things, of collective consciousness, pure depth, pure love, pure lost in the forest on a hellish mushroom trips where you got too cold – hypothermic even- and your lips turned blue only to come out alive and perhaps a piece of you plunged to your depths and it’s death and changed in a way that was uncomfortable but necessary. Pure faith. Beliefs come in many forms; in god or the universe. In the stories, we are told about the self, in the stories we tell ourselves. Pisces asks us to look deeply at the self and to realize there is no I. Only a very large we. awareness. pure transcendence.
Water is the element that doesn’t just give us depth, it gives us life. And Pisces speaks of endings, connection, and expansion in its final form. Virgo may think she has the last word. But Pisces does, that spill of emotion that forces you to truly listen to what it has to say.
